The drive: motorway all the way south

Casablanca Mohammed V Airport (CMN) sits at Nouaceur, about 30 km south of the city, so you never enter Casablanca traffic. The car joins the toll motorway a few minutes from the terminal and follows it south for 220 km, past Berrechid, Settat and Ben Guerir. The landscape changes from the farmland of the Chaouia to the dry Rehamna plain, then the low Jbilet hills just before Marrakech. The drive takes about 2 h 30 on a dual carriageway, with service areas for a coffee or toilet break roughly halfway. Tolls are included in the price.

Pickup at CMN and drop-off in Marrakech

Your driver waits at the arrivals exit of your terminal with a name sign, after baggage reclaim and customs. Passport control at CMN can be slow when several long-haul flights land together. We track your flight and the wait is free. In Marrakech the car goes to the door in Gueliz, Hivernage, the Palmeraie and the hotel zones. Inside the medina many lanes are closed to cars: the driver stops at the nearest gate or square, and your riad usually sends someone to walk you in. Why go direct, and timing for the return

The train from the airport normally means a change in Casablanca, with luggage, before the line to Marrakech. A direct car is quicker door to door after a long flight, and the price is per vehicle, not per person. For a flight out of CMN, leave Marrakech at least 5 h 30 before departure, or 6 hours for long-haul.
